Ride The Sky es una nueva banda, pero sus miembros tienen una gran experiencia y han estado en un montón de otros grupos. El baterista Uli Kusch es probablemente el más grande en nombre de la banda (Helloween, Gamma Ray y Masterplan)

Ride The Sky también incluye al vocalista Bjorn Jansson (Tears Of Anger, Beyond Twilight), el guitarrista Benny Jansson, tecladista Kasper Dahlqvist (Dionysus, grandes) y el bajista Matías Garnas (Xsavior).

"New Protection" es majestuoso álbum de "power metal". Las canciones son épicas, con prominentes teclados y coros. Además de las bases tradicionales de power metal, Ride The Sky también es la mezcla progresivo y toques de elementos clásicos.

Hay una buena combinación de texturas y atmósferas así. Algunas canciones son oscuras y pesadas, otras brillante y enérgicas. Bjorn Jansson cuenta con una excelente voz con mucha potencia y emoción.
